On July 24th, Pastor Matthew delivered a message based on 1 John 4:8-18, titled True Love Does not Fear.
Apostolos John said in this passage that Whoever doesn’t love does not love God, for God is love. There can be many words to describe God’s divine Characters, but Apostolo John used the word ‘Love’.
If we don’t know what love is, we can hardly know God. It’s true. Do we have love naturally? No. We are born forgetting about God, leaving God, and chasing false loves of the world. It takes time for us to grow in God’s love, just as Jesus changed the water of six jars into wine. In the beginning, we didn’t know God’s love, but God can change our lives into eternal ones.
We know that our love is not perfect when fear is inside our hearts. If there is weighted fear in your relationship, you don’t feel freedom, joy, and release. God’s love is complete, so we should come to God and embrace His love.
